Cookie Notice
How Live With Nature uses cookies and similar storage technologies on this website.
Last updated: 30 July 2026
What cookies are
Cookies are small pieces of information stored by a website in your browser. Similar technologies can also store information on, or read information from, the device you use to visit a website.
They may be used to keep a website secure, remember a login or basket, provide requested functions, or—where separately enabled—measure use of a website.
Current website position
Live With Nature currently uses WordPress and WooCommerce. The present build is configured around essential website, account, security and shopping-basket functions.
No third-party advertising cookies are part of the current build. We have not intentionally enabled optional advertising, behavioural profiling or third-party analytics cookies. The first-visit choice panel separates required cookies from optional cookies and confirms that no optional category is currently in use. If optional analytics, embedded media, maps or other services are enabled later, this notice and the website’s consent controls will be updated before those technologies are used.
Essential WordPress and account cookies
WordPress may set authentication, security and preference cookies when an authorised user signs in, accesses an account area, or uses administrative features. These cookies are used to recognise the signed-in session, protect account access and remember limited interface preferences.
Blocking these cookies may prevent login, account or administrative functions from working correctly.
Essential WooCommerce cookies
WooCommerce may set the following cookies when you interact with shop or basket functions:
| Cookie | Typical duration | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
woocommerce_cart_hash |
Session | Helps WooCommerce detect when basket contents or data change. |
woocommerce_items_in_cart |
Session | Helps WooCommerce detect when basket contents or data change. |
wp_woocommerce_session_* |
Normally 2 days | Stores a unique reference that allows WooCommerce to find the visitor’s basket data in the website database. |
lwn_cookie_choice |
90 days | Remembers whether you selected required cookies only or accepted all available categories, so the choice panel does not appear on every page. It does not enable optional cookies by itself. |
These cookies are used only when the relevant shop functions are engaged. Their exact names can include a site-specific suffix.
Forms, security and requested functions
Forms, member areas and security controls may use short-lived session or verification information where this is necessary to submit a request, protect the site from misuse, maintain a signed-in session or provide another function you have asked to use.
These technologies are treated as essential only where they are necessary to deliver the requested function securely.
Non-essential cookies and consent
Non-essential cookies or similar technologies should not be placed unless you have been given clear information and an appropriate opportunity to choose. Where consent is required, it must be an active choice and it must be possible to withdraw that choice.
Optional cookies currently in use: none. The choice panel therefore leaves only required cookies active whichever option you select. Your selection is recorded so that the panel does not appear on every page.
If Live With Nature later enables optional analytics, third-party media, maps, advertising or comparable services, those technologies will be identified, the consent version will be changed and visitors will be asked to choose again before those technologies are activated.
Managing cookies
You can delete or restrict cookies through your browser settings. Browser controls vary, so consult your browser’s help information for the relevant steps.
You can also reopen the website choice panel at any time using the Cookie settings button in the footer.
Blocking essential cookies may stop baskets, checkout, login, account access or security features from working correctly. Rejecting optional cookies should not prevent access to the site’s core information.
Changes and questions
This notice will be reviewed when the website’s functions, plugins or external services change. The date at the top shows the latest published revision.
