What will actually arrive?
Ever buy Firewood and wonder what you are going to get this time?
A “bag”, a “load” or even a “tonne” can sound precise without making one supplier comparable with another. The words alone do not tell you the bag dimensions, how full it is, whether the logs are loose or stacked, how much water is included in the weight, or what “seasoned” means for that batch.
- Is a “full bag” filled level, heaped or bulging — and what size is the bag?
- How much will a loose-filled bag occupy after the logs are stacked?
- Does a quoted “load” describe a measured volume or simply the vehicle used?
- If wood is sold by weight, how much of that weight is water?
- Was moisture checked inside freshly split logs, or did the wood only feel dry at the surface?
That is why LWN states the species, package, price and delivery basis, then confirms the offered quantity rather than asking customers to rely on an assumed bag or trailer conversion.

Metric first, cord-inspired
“Cord-inspired” describes the scale and product ladder. It is not a claim that every bag or stack equals a fixed fraction of a cord.
The stated stacked metric volume is the customer-clear measure. We confirm the relevant quantity for the offered batch rather than relying on an assumed bag-to-cord conversion.
Moisture and evidence
Only verified claims
The current launch species is Ash. We do not describe it as kiln dried or Ready to Burn unless verified evidence supports that wording. Relevant batch information is confirmed with the offer.

Preferred pricing continues for members
During the limited opening, preferred pricing is available publicly. Registered members retain preferred Firewood pricing and receive advance notice of future releases.

Is submitting the form a confirmed order?
No. It creates a reservation request. We confirm stock, quantity, price, access and delivery before you decide whether to accept.
Is delivery included?
Local delivery is included within ten road miles on orders of 1.0 stacked m³ or more. Extra mileage and any placement charge are confirmed separately.
Is the wood kiln dried or certified Ready to Burn?
No such claim is made without verified evidence. The page and your offer use the evidence available for the actual batch.
Does membership guarantee stock?
No. Membership provides advance notice and continuing preferred pricing, but every release remains subject to availability and delivery capacity.
WHY ASH?
Almost any untreated wood can be good firewood
The current release is Ash, but species is only part of the story. Dryness, density, storage, log size and appliance use explain why pine, rowan, willow and other woods are often unfairly dismissed.
