Website terms
Terms
The terms that apply when you use Live With Nature, submit information, request Firewood, or take part in a website-supported activity.
Last updated: 31 July 2026
About these Terms
These Terms apply to the Live With Nature website and to forms, requests and other interactions made through it. By using the website, you agree to use it in accordance with these Terms.
Live With Nature is operated from Mid Wales. Website questions can be sent to contact@livewithnature.co.uk or through the Contact page.
Nothing in these Terms removes or reduces rights that cannot lawfully be excluded, including statutory consumer rights.
Using this website
You may use the website for lawful personal, community and business enquiries connected with the information and activities described here. You must not:
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, accounts, records or supporting systems;
- introduce malicious code, interfere with security, or place an unreasonable load on the service;
- submit information that is unlawful, abusive, misleading, discriminatory or infringes another person’s rights; or
- use the website, its forms or contact details for spam, fraud or automated bulk activity.
Access may be limited or blocked where reasonably necessary to protect people, records, the website or the wider service.
Educational information
Articles, guides, species information, comparisons and other resources are provided for general educational and practical purposes. They are not a substitute for professional advice where safety, planning, legal, financial, medical, veterinary, structural, arboricultural or specialist ecological input is required.
Land, weather, tools, materials, species and personal circumstances vary. Check the suitability and safety of any approach for your own situation before acting. We aim to keep information clear and accurate, but cannot promise that every page is complete, current or suitable for every use.
Firewood requests and confirmed orders
The public Firewood page describes current options and invites you to submit a reservation request. A request is not an accepted order, does not reserve stock automatically and does not require payment through the website.
A Firewood contract is formed only when the specific quantity, batch information, total price, delivery or collection arrangements and any additional service have been confirmed and accepted. The confirmation or offer will identify the supplier and provide the information required before agreement.
Firewood is a natural product. Species mix, colour, bark, split shape and dimensions will vary within the description given. Where moisture information is supplied, it relates to the stated batch and testing method rather than a guarantee that every individual split has an identical reading.
Quantities are described using the measurements stated with the offer, such as bag dimensions or stacked volume. Photographs show genuine context but may not depict the exact individual load unless the offer says that they do.
Prices, delivery and access
The confirmed offer will state the total price and any delivery, mileage, stacking or other agreed charge before a contract is made. Website prices or availability may change before confirmation.
You are responsible for giving accurate delivery information and identifying access restrictions, weak surfaces, narrow entrances, overhead hazards, livestock, locked gates or other material risks. Delivery or unloading may be refused or rearranged where access is unsafe, unlawful, unsuitable for the vehicle, or materially different from what was described.
Once delivered, Firewood should be moved, stacked and stored safely in a ventilated location appropriate to its condition. Any agreed stacking service is limited to the location and access confirmed in advance.
Consumer rights and cancellations
Your statutory rights are not affected. Goods must match their description and meet the standards required by applicable consumer law.
Where a distance or off-premises contract carries a statutory cancellation right, the order confirmation will explain the cancellation period, how to cancel, and any applicable return or collection arrangements and direct return cost. Tell us promptly if you wish to cancel or if goods are faulty, damaged, materially misdescribed or otherwise not as agreed.
Contact contact@livewithnature.co.uk with the order or offer reference and enough information to identify the issue. Nothing in these Terms limits a remedy that must be provided by law.
Membership
Live With Nature membership is free and application-based. Submitting an application does not create membership or guarantee acceptance. Applications are reviewed manually, and access is granted only after approval.
Member access may be limited, suspended or withdrawn where reasonably necessary for security, misuse, prolonged inactivity, breach of these Terms, or protection of the community and service. This does not affect any separate confirmed consumer contract.
Community submissions
Stories, questions, photographs, feedback, testimonials and other submissions are reviewed manually. Submission does not guarantee a reply, publication or continued display.
You must have the right and any necessary permission to submit the material, including permission from identifiable people shown or discussed. Do not submit confidential material or personal information about another person without an appropriate basis.
Ownership does not transfer merely because material is submitted. Any permission to edit, publish, credit or reuse a submission will be agreed through the relevant form, consent choice or separate communication before public use.
Events, visits and other activities
Specific event, visit, workshop, collection or other activity details may include additional terms covering availability, eligibility, payment, cancellation, weather, access, safety, food information or attendance. Those details form part of the agreement for that activity.
Activities may be changed, postponed or cancelled where reasonably necessary because of weather, land conditions, safety, illness, insufficient participation or circumstances outside reasonable control. Any payment or refund position will be explained with the activity and handled in accordance with applicable law.
Accounts and security
Where account access is provided, you are responsible for keeping login details secure and for information submitted through your account. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or access link has been compromised.
Private offer, response and administration links must not be shared with people who are not authorised to use them.
Website content and intellectual property
Unless stated otherwise, website text, branding, original photographs, graphics, downloads and page designs are owned by or licensed to Live With Nature. You may view, print or save reasonable extracts for personal, non-commercial use.
You may link to public pages in a fair and lawful way that does not imply endorsement. Republishing, selling, systematically extracting or presenting substantial website content as your own requires prior permission, except where the law allows otherwise.
External services and links
The website may link to third-party websites, maps, payment services, social platforms or other tools. Those services have their own terms and privacy practices. A link does not amount to a guarantee or endorsement of everything provided by that third party.
Availability and changes
We may maintain, change, suspend or remove website features and content. We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability, and reasonable security or maintenance work may temporarily affect access.
These Terms may be updated when the website, activities or legal requirements change. The date at the top shows the latest published version. Terms applying to an already confirmed order or activity will not be changed retrospectively unless the change is required by law or agreed with you.
Our responsibility
We do not exclude or limit liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or responsibility for goods that do not meet mandatory consumer standards.
Subject to those protections, Live With Nature is not responsible for loss caused by unlawful use of the website, inaccurate information supplied by a user, failure to carry out appropriate checks before relying on general educational material, or events outside reasonable control.
Where you use the website wholly or mainly for business purposes, Live With Nature is not responsible for indirect or consequential business loss, loss of profit, revenue, opportunity, data or goodwill, except where liability cannot lawfully be limited.
Privacy and cookies
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. The Cookie Notice explains the current use of required and optional cookies and how cookie choices are managed.
Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by the law that applies to Live With Nature in Wales. If you are a consumer, you also retain any mandatory protections and access to courts provided by the law of the part of the United Kingdom in which you live.
Please contact us first so that any concern can be considered and, where possible, resolved directly.
